Getting Sick Often – Weak immune systems from anxiety can make us prone to minor illness like catching a cold.

Forgetfulness/Distraction – People with anxiety can appear distracted and too often they are unable to pay attention to the task at hand.  Their short attention span also means that they easily forget things.

Cold Hands and Feet– Anxiety is one of the hidden causes behind cold hands or feet as anxiety triggers flight or fight responses in the body.

Rage– A very common, but a little-known side effect of anxiety is rage.

Excessive Yawning – A physical reaction tied to the fight or flight response as muscles tighten and the heart rate and respiratory rate increase.  Excessive yawning can be a sign to get some help as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI’s), , have been shown to have a side effect of excessive yawning for the treatment for some anxiety disorders.

Burning Face Sensation – Flushing of the skin can happen due to an overstimulated nervous system.
