Enhance Your Pastoral Care Skills

I’m Peter, I’m a full time Public Servant and I’m studying with aifc. What inspires me most about counselling is that I get to help other people. I’d like to see healthy individuals, healthy families and ultimately,a healthy community.

What I love most about studying with aifc is the support we receive from the tutors and even from fellow students. When I was considering studying with aifc, I hadn’t studied for 37 years. It was challenging because I thought ‘How am I going to study while I’m also trying to hold down a full time job?’ However, it’s proven not to be a challenge. I’ve certainly received a lot of support from the tutors and the various teachers.

What I’ve learnt so far at aifc is already helping me in the Pastoral Care Ministry that I have at my local church. It’s also helped me in my own marriage and my walk with God.

Already, I’m very grateful for aifc. It’s been a life transforming experience. If you’re considering studying with aifc, I’d say just give it a go.
