Students Spiritually Supported & Covered In Prayer

At aifc there’s a lot more going on behind the scenes than the usual daily business activities one would expect at the office.

As a Christian organisation, aifc provides quality student support and this also means we spend time covering aifc students in prayer.  All of our staff engage in regular prayer for our one another and we also pray for all those who study at aifc.

Recently an email  sent to our students from aifc’s Queensland Regional Director, Susan Joy Daniel to came to my attention, and with permission I’d like to share it with all of you as it really shows the heart of aifc.

Students covered in prayer

Greetings aifc students,

We are now well into Term 1 and I hope you’re off to a great start this week.

My name is Susan Daniel and I have the privilege of being the Regional Director in Qld, as well as overseeing the ministry of prayer in aifc. I’m not sure if you’re aware that aifc staff pray for you weekly and consider this an important ministry that supports you in your study journey. This week we are specifically praying that you will know God as the one who provides all your needs. We are also praying you’ll walk into all that God has called you to do and be by studying with aifc.

I also am keen for you to know we have opportunities for you to share your prayer requests/needs with us. You can do this by emailing your Assessor and this will be sent to me. From here I will send this to the various prayer coordinators in each aifc region, and they will send this to staff. This enables us to all pray for you and your needs.

Some needs are a little too personal to be shared in this manner, and these will come to me and from here they will be sent to an intercessory prayer team.

Another opportunity is for us all to join in praising God for the answer to your need, and I encourage you to share this so that we can all rejoice with you.

Our theme for 2019 is found in Matthew 6:33 (found in the ‘Do not worry’ exhortation Jesus gave) But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.(NKJV)

Be blessed in this day,

Susan Joy Daniel

Regional Director QLD

Spiritual Formation, Fear, and Following God’s Call

January 24, 2026 | Faith

Ready to Change? Most people do not resist change because they are stubborn or unwilling. They resist because change asks something of them — emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. Often, the desire for change is present long before action follows. People recognise patterns that are no longer life-giving. They notice recurring struggles, emotional reactions, or relational…

When Compassion Isn’t Enough

January 19, 2026 | Faith

Why Spiritual Formation Matters in Ministry   Most people enter the ministry of helping others because they care deeply. They are willing to show up, listen, pray, and walk alongside others in difficult seasons. Compassion is often what draws people into ministry in the first place. But over time, many discover that compassion alone is…
