Terry Lynch – Thank You To David Watkins

Recently aifc student Terry Lynch sent such a lovely email thanking aifc staff member David Watkins, that we attained permission to share it with all of you. David is a Godly man wearing many hats at aifc employed as our Under-graduate Program Coordinator in Sydney and in Canberra as our National Partnerships Manager.

The email goes as follows:

Dear David,

I just wanted to let you know that I will be taking break from study next year and looking to commence the graduate diploma year with aifc in 2019. While I would like to continue, the prayerful response I get from God is that I am being invited to take a year to consolidate what I have learnt and spend more time with my wife in helping her continue her health journey. This further means that I am going down to a four-day working week at school next year as well.

I also wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for your input, patience and encouragement this past year. I have found who you are and the way you have shared your heart for God and helping others to be quite refreshing and it has helped build hope in my world for continuing to walk with God. It’s heartening to know that there are examples of more mature men who love God that I can look to emulate. Thank you.

Hopefully I will still see you around aifc at some point,

May you find more and more of God,

Blessings,

Terry
