CEO’s Trip To Uganda & Thailand

With aifc’s purpose in mind: ‘Transforming lives to transform communities, CEO Nicholas Marks and Operations Manager Robyn Phillips, traveled overseas to Uganda to visit our friends and to Thailand to meet with new partners of aifc ‘Asia Christian Counsellors Association (ACCA). Below are a couple of quotes from our CEO from Instagram and the reason for the trip.

TRIP TO THAILAND

The trip to Thailand allowed Nicholas and Robyn to attended a conference and to discuss our ‘working partnership’ with our new partners at the ACCA.

Nicholas Marks’ Instagram Quote:  “Great to be a part of the Asian Christian Counselling Association gathering in Bangkok with representatives from 10 Asian nations. Made new friends, enjoyed wonderful hospitality with generous and Godly people. Reminded how the streets are chaotic, but it works, and meal times are central and take time to relate and slow down. Amazing what is happening in this part of the world. Special thanks to Dr Edmund Ng for the invitation.”

TRIP TO UGANDA

Nicholas and Robyn also visited our dear friends at the Uganda Institute of Family Counselling (UIFC).

Nicholas Marks’ Quote:  “A truly great experience and blessing to come to Uganda and 2 weeks with Will – Junior class at Bushfire School In Bulange – our very special hosts the Kitalya’s, leaders of Bushfire and UIFC – the UIFC team in Jinja – village in Uganda – Will, Jack and Isaac making Chapati’s – the ‘South Sudan Amazing Grace’ crew at Bushfire School who made the bravest journey of faith, hardship and loss to get there.”

We pray and give thanks for our all of our partners and friends who are a blessing and mean a lot to us.  Visit our Partnerships Page to discover who our partners are and to learn about partnering with aifc.
