Master of Counselling Testimonial – Hanli Bothma
Master of Counselling Testimonial of Hanli Bothma
“The Master of counselling was an enjoyable and exceptional year in which my counselling skills were taken to a new level and I was privileged to get to know a few fellow counsellors through meaningful group discussions. Exploring and learning about different counselling approaches through the eyes of the founders of these sometimes-unconventional techniques helped us gain a wide range of new and interesting methods to connect with clients.
A large amount of time was allocated to practical work which enabled us to explore these different approaches more deeply by experiencing the impact they have on the client-counsellor relationship. Neuroscience was given importance in a few elective units. The information gained from this field of study left a lasting impression on me and changed the way in which I counsel to include a more holistic view of counselling outcomes.”
